DIY 4 Wheel Alignment Kit

Objectives
Align your wheels like a pro with my DIY Alignment Kit! Using the string method, this custom 3D-printed solution is perfect for precise and affordable wheel alignment at home or the track. The kit includes hub adapters that hold scales for setting strings parallel to your car, along with toe measurement tools that touch off the wheel edges. The system uses a hub adapter that is specific to the dimensions of the wheels they are being used on, so with some crowdsourcing we can build out a database of hub adapters to make the STL files available for instant download.

There are two options, the first being the one based on Imperial fasteners and featured in the video, the second a metric version that should allow easier sourcing outside USA. Pair with the appropriate STl Files below. The alternate metric components listed after the original as appropriate. The conduit holders still utilize 1/4-20 nut for attachment to standard tripod.

Crowdsourcing Dimensions
To ensure a fit of the hub adapter and threaded plug to your wheels, the three dimensions outlined in the drawing and table below need to match your wheel. You will need to check these dimensions for your wheels and if a matching set of dimensions are not already in the table below, you will need to request an new design by adding a comment to the Youtube video here with your dimensions. I will do my best to create the new models and STL files quickly and get them published in the table below. The dimension don't need to be an exact match, if they are within 0.01" it may be worth trying a 3D print to check.

**When installing the hub adapters into your wheels, you want the threaded plug to thread in all the way and bottom out to ensure the most accurate measurements wheel to wheel. If the threaded plug does not want to screw all the way in, you can carefully sand material away from the interface between the threaded plug and the inside of the detent fingers. A little lubrication may help as well.
